Who I am
I am a non-traditional student at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I am a mass communications/journalism major, with a minor in creative writing. I am originally from Pittsburgh, though I live in Wendell, North Carolina now (Wendell is east of Raleigh; just look very carefully on a map).
Being from Pittsburgh, you would think I am a preordained Pittsburgh sports fan. However, I only picked up this “fanship” a couple of years ago. I am a big Steelers fan, though I am not a big fan of the Pirates or the Penguins (I would say I am a big fan of these two teams, but I am afraid to say that I am a fair-weather fan of both the Pirates and the Pengs).
